The Ruff Ring

The Ruff Ring is inspired by historical clowns who started wearing ruffs in the 17th century. I took the shape and designed an occasion piece that is made out of 100% recycled sterling silver.

To create this statement ring I first hand carved the design in wax and using the traditional lost wax process I cast each piece in solid sterling silver before achieving the highly polished finish.

The ring is 23mm across at widest point and weighs approximately 20 grams
